The creative energy behind Kim Forrester Photography comes from not one but three moms. Moms who get it, who have been there ourselves, who want you to feel as special as you are, and are honoured to capture you in your motherhood journey.
Hi, I’m Kim!
I live in South Surrey, BC, with my husband of 11 years and my two sweet and hilarious little ones. I’m happiest when I’m on the beach, exploring with my kids, and capturing life’s simple moments.
I have won a number of photography awards, and I’m a former hospital photographer, capturing over 1000 babies at BC Women’s Hospital - home to Canada’s largest maternity ward.
I’ve always been an artistic type with an interest in photography, but it wasn’t until becoming a mom that I became passionate about honouring new parents with a comfortable photography experience, where every fine detail is taken care of from start to finish. I want you to relax and truly enjoy yourself, while I capture you and your family with meaningful art. Art that will remind you every day, through every chaotic and imperfect moment, of this beautiful life you’re living.
I also love mentoring other photographers, many of whom have become photographers for my second photography company, and I enjoy collaborating and building community with local business owners.
Preserving these special moments for families means the world to me, and is a job I pour my heart into with each family I capture. I’d love to chat about how I can create something special for you!
DANI - Photographer
Dani has worked on our team since 2019, she is the senior photographer for our sister company, and she has been taking on many of our newborn, maternity, and family sessions. You can find Dani’s latest work in this blog post.
Dani is a fellow South Surrey mom, preschool photographer, and owner of her own portrait photography business. Dani has 14 years of working with and photographing kids, and she has two school-aged boys. She loves to spend her free time hiking with her dog, paddling on the water, and marveling over her houseplants’ new leaves (honestly, that last one makes her so happy).
Dani’s happy place is behind her camera, and there is nobody like her to get genuine smiles out of your kids. Make sure to request her next time you book with us!
FELICIA - Manager
One of the first people you may speak with when inquiring about photography is Felicia, who helps us stay on top of bookings and also plays an important role in managing our blog, website, social media, e-newsletter, and other marketing channels so we can reach more families like yours.
A Jill of all trades with over 15 years of administrative experience, Felicia’s resume is stacked with experience in office management, financial administration, bookkeeping, payroll/hr, marketing and business development.
Dreams really do come true, because Felicia has always wanted to join a community of friends and women in business. When she’s not chasing around her sweet little girl, she loves to curl up with a good book or practice barre, pilates, and yoga.
