This family came into their newborn session hoping to capture "a little organized chaos," and I couldn't think of a better way to describe this beautiful season of life. With three young children and a brand new baby, there was laughter, cuddles, movement, and plenty of sweet moments that perfectly reflected who they are right now.

This beautiful family of five visited my natural light studio for their South Surrey newborn photography session, making the trip from Vancouver for a relaxed morning of cuddles, laughter, and quiet moments with their newest little one. Lately, more Vancouver families have been choosing the studio, whether it's to enjoy a day trip to Crescent Beach or simply to get out of the house during those busy newborn weeks.

While I'm a mobile newborn photographer serving Vancouver, South Surrey, and the Lower Mainland, not every home has the light or space for family photos. My studio offers a bright, neutral setting where the focus stays on your family and your connection.

Unlike traditional newborn studios that focus primarily on posed baby portraits, my approach is rooted in storytelling. Your baby's tiny fingers, sleepy stretches, and first interactions with siblings are just as important as the way your family holds, comforts, and loves them. My sessions are family focused, natural, and full of genuine emotion, creating images that feel like memories rather than poses.

For this session, Mom wore a dress from my client closet, with beautiful hair and makeup by Faye Smith Agency, while the family chose soft, neutral tones that kept the attention on what mattered most, their connection.

They're now choosing a collection of fine art prints and larger family portraits for their home. Along with digital images, I offer heirloom albums and museum-quality artwork designed to be enjoyed every day and passed down for generations.
