Spring Family Session on the Grey Canal Trail | Vernon, BC Photographer

Spring is upon us in Vernon, and it’s the perfect time to book your outdoor family session! I love photographing families in natural, relaxed settings where kids can run, explore, and have fun, and the Grey Canal Trail in the North BX, Silver Star Foothills, is one of my favorite spots for exactly that.

The trail sits just below the Foothills and offers stunning views of our beautiful town, with soft warm tones in the grass and foliage. It’s also very accessible, with a small parking lot right at the start of the trail. Families also love exploring lakeside locations around Kalamalka Lake and Okanagan Lake, including Cosens Beach and other scenic lakeside parks, which provide beautiful spots for relaxed family photos with water and natural light.
