In-Home Newborn Photography Session in Vancouver | Baby Girl Lifestyle Session

Welcoming a newborn into your home is such a special and fleeting season. I recently photographed a sweet new family just outside Vancouver as they settled in with their beautiful baby girl.

Before the session, they were worried their home might be too small or that there wouldn’t be enough light for photos. I reassured them that we could create a full gallery right beside a single window if needed.

And that’s exactly what we did.

Almost the entire session took place next to their living room window, where the soft natural light created the perfect setting for simple, timeless newborn photos. With mom and dad close by, we captured so many meaningful moments and beautiful variety in such a small space.

It’s always a good reminder that you don’t need a large home or perfectly styled rooms for beautiful newborn photos. A little natural light and the people you love most is more than enough.
