Vancouver Maternity Photography | Studio & Crescent Beach Maternity Session in South Surrey

When you're expecting, it's worth taking a moment to slow down and celebrate this chapter together. For many of my clients from Vancouver and across the Lower Mainland, a maternity session in South Surrey becomes more than just photos. We began this session in my natural light studio near Crescent Beach, creating timeless maternity portraits with an editorial feel. The mom-to-be wanted images that felt organic, relaxed, and full of genuine connection rather than overly posed, and the soft studio light was the perfect backdrop. She chose to wear her own wardrobe, while her professional hair and makeup by Faye Smith Agency was done at her Vancouver home before they made the drive south.

As golden hour arrived, we headed right outside the studio to Crescent Beach to finish the session. Walking along the shoreline, embracing the movement of the ocean, and ending with dreamy sunset silhouettes created a beautiful contrast to the clean, light-filled studio portraits. Together, the two locations tell the story of this season in a way that feels timeless and effortless.
