When families book an in-home photography session, one of the first things I often hear is, “I’m sorry about the mess.”
Please don’t be.

I’m not there to photograph every corner of your house. I’m looking for the places where the light is beautiful and where your family naturally connects.
Sometimes that’s your bedroom. Sometimes it’s the nursery. Sometimes it’s everyone piled together on the couch.

You don't need to spend hours cleaning.
If you want to prepare, simply clear a few obvious distractions from the rooms we're most likely to use. Put away anything you absolutely don't want photographed, and then let the rest go.
You don't need a perfect house. You just need to be in it together.
