There’s something truly special about photographing a family right where their story is unfolding: at home. And now, I’m thrilled to offer these in-home sessions throughout the Okanagan, including Kelowna, Vernon, and even up to Kamloops. Alongside images from a recent session I photographed in Vancouver, I’m excited to share why my approach stands out.

I had the joy of returning to photograph a wonderful Vancouver family. This was my second time working with them, and now their little boy has officially stepped into his role as big brother. Their in-home newborn session was everything I love about photographing families where they’re most comfortable. Big brother could grab snacks from the kitchen whenever he needed, we worked perfectly around nap time, and baby settled so easily in the familiar rhythm of home. These natural, unhurried moments are exactly what make in-home newborn photography so special.

Our in-home newborn sessions are convenient and comfortable for the whole family, especially when there are siblings. Having everything you need at your fingertips and the ability for parents or siblings to rest or play between different setups is key. The more relaxed everyone is, the more natural your photos are.
